Head of Grants & FundraisingGabe is the Head of Grants & Fundraising. He focuses on writing grants for our current and upcoming programs to aid in increasing our impact on local communities. His experience as the captain of the swim team at Pioneer High School brings valuable knowledge to our fundraising efforts. Gabe has an extremely strong background of business, marketing, and leadership. |
Director of Communications & DevelopmentMadeline is a senior at Pioneer High School and was recently named one of Washtenaw County’s 2020 Young Citizens of the Year. She has helped oversee two of ByKids4Kids programs Kindle Kingdom and Kindles4Covid. While not volunteering for Bykids4Kids, she interns at Ballet Chelsea’s Adaptive Dance Program teaching people with disabilities dance and movement and managing editor for Indigenizing The News, which highlights indigenous voices and issues. |
Program AssistantMeera is currently the Program Assistant here at ByKids4Kids! A rising 8th grader, Meera has a diverse background in volunteering not only for ByKids4Kids, but also for various organizations in our community. As one of the founding members of our organization, Meera brings a great deal of expertise and experience to the organization. Meera also attains extensive leadership skills through her involvement in Pinnacle Field Hockey and Greenhills Tennis. |
Service LeaderEmma is a high school sophomore. She has an extensive background in non-profit work with the American Red Cross and the Youth Volunteer Corps where she is on the youth board. She also has impressive collegiate level recognition for her environmental efforts. Emma is an incredibly valuable member to our team. She works with our volunteers, members, and community partners to further ByKids4Kids’ outreach. |
PR & Social Media AssistantCasey is entering her sophomore year this fall. Casey has quickly gained an education in business fundamentals, specifically non-profit organizations and advertising. As an active collaborator with our community partners, Casey is an integral part of our programs and outreach. Her work centers around website design and building our social media presence in an effort to engage and empower youth. |
Co-Founder/DirectorEmma is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a bachelor's degree in Communication and Entrepreneurship. She is also a small business owner with a passion for giving back to the community. Meriwether Social, the wedding and event planning company she co-owns, creates beautiful celebrations but also has a focus on generosity. Emma's extensive background working with youth, makes her an excellent advisor to our Youth. |
